Eco Reserve Work Party!
Description:
Assist the Conservancy and County Park Rangers in improving and maintaining the 1,000 acre San Elijo Lagoon Ecological Reserve with trail maintenance, plant removal, shrub, planting and other activities.
Typically, we work for two hours on trail maintenance, habitat restoration include invasive pest plant removal and planting of natives, and trash clean-up. Snacks and tools are provided. Please bring the following items:
* Long pants
* Long-sleeved shirt
* Close-toed shoes
* Hat
* Sunscreen
* Water bottle (water is provided)
* Mosquito repellant
* Other medications as needed (bee sting, asthma, etc.)
* Work gloves
* Binoculars for a hike after!
