Do you prioritize your PERSONAL HEALTH? Do you exercise regularly and make sure to get between 7-9 hours of sleep every night? Do you know how to ask for help when you feel overwhelmed and do you make sure you get the help you need? Most college students do not and SLSSP 2018 is here to help change that!
SLSSP 2018 will be on Saturday February 17th from 8:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. The event will be happening at Stonehenge Field (behind Galbraith Hall) and various rooms in a nearby classrooms.
In order for UCSD Circle K members to Be the Change, we must be well informed and prioritize our own personal health. Make sure to register.

This year’s District Service Initiative (DSI), Be the Change: Personal Health, is ensuring Circle K volunteers take care of themselves first so they can go out and be the leaders of today and tomorrow by serving their community. How can you serve others when you forget to serve yourself? College students live very busy lives trying to manage their academics, work, and extracurricular activities. Many college students order fast food for convenience, pull all-nighters to study for exams, and ignore emotional red flags. To help combat this neglect of our personal needs, the SLSSP 2018 Committee is putting on a full day of service for ourselves.
In the morning, we are going to have the BIGGEST FAM COMPETITION EVER! Fams will compete in FUN physical trials as a way for Circle K members to get in needed EXERCISE and help y’all DE-STRESS from the hectic midterm season. In the afternoon, we will be attending different workshops led by professionals to learn about mental health, nutrition, and sexual health, catered to college life.
Additionally, throughout the day there will be an exciting list of challenges for each fam to complete. At the end of the day, points will be tallied based on completion of these challenges, participation in the athletic games, and fam attendance until the end of the day. The fam with the highest amount of points will be crowned the winner of our SLSSP 2018 PERSONAL HEALTH PRIZE!
